Cartier - Oval - Pocket lighter - Gold-plated (Plaqué Or G)

The warm gold-tone body and dense brushed texture really caught my eye. There’s honest wear across the surface, but that slightly used-in look gives it plenty of vintage character. Cartier’s slim shape and decorative finish make this an easy piece to notice at auction.

[Appearance]

This Cartier lighter has a slim rectangular body with softly rounded edges and an attractive gold-tone textured finish. The fine, irregular brushed pattern catches the light nicely and gives the surface much more character than a plain polished finish.

The base is marked “Cartier PARIS,” “PLAQUE OR G,” and serial number “61357 C.”

There are visible scratches, rubbing, small marks, and wear around the edges from age and previous use. The base also shows scratches and signs of handling. On the positive side, the textured finish still presents nicely and the overall wear gives the lighter a natural, well-used vintage appearance.
