Zippo lighter in plain sterling silver, model 2001, made in the United States, crafted from sterling silver, in good used condition with minor signs of aging, basic ignition confirmed.
Description from the seller
The plain sterling silver case and softly worn edges immediately caught my eye. It has plenty of honest scratches from being carried and used, but that’s part of the charm with solid silver—it develops its own character over time. The “STERLING 2001” stamp also gives collectors a clear detail to focus on at auction.
[Appearance]
This is a 2001 Zippo with a classic plain sterling silver case. No decorative pattern here—just the simple rectangular shape, rounded edges, and the natural look of silver that has seen real use. I have a soft spot for these plain silver Zippos because every little mark becomes part of the finish over time.
The bottom is clearly stamped “STERLING,” “2001,” “Zippo,” and “MADE IN U.S.A.”
There are numerous fine scratches, rubbing, small marks, and areas of tarnish across the body and lid. The edges also show wear from previous handling and use. On the positive side, the simple unadorned case wears its age very naturally, and the sterling silver construction gives the piece a satisfying material appeal that plated examples simply don’t have.
Please refer to the photos for detailed condition.
[Functionality]
Basic ignition only confirmed.
Other functions have not been fully tested and are not covered by any guarantee.
As this is a vintage lighter, an overhaul or professional servicing is recommended before long-term regular use.
[Accessories]
Everything shown in the photos is included.
Flint and gas will be removed before shipping.
Please refill before use.
[Shipping]
The item will be carefully packed and shipped internationally by FedEx or a comparable international courier service with tracking.
Import duties, taxes, and customs fees vary by country and are the buyer’s responsibility. Please check your local customs regulations before bidding or purchasing.
