The most notable fact about this brand is that Louis Armstrong himself played an EMO trumpet and, impressed by its sound, wrote a letter to Ernst Mödl in which he called it “the best trumpet he had ever played in his life.” These instruments are now regarded as rare and hold great historical value for jazz enthusiasts and vintage brass instrument fans.
