Original 2013 Italian first-release theatrical poster for Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained (2012).
A highly collectible original cinema poster for one of Quentin Tarantino's most acclaimed films, starring Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz, Leonardo DiCaprio, Kerry Washington and Samuel L. Jackson.
This is an original Italian theatrical poster issued for the film's first release in Italy in 2013, and not a reproduction or later reprint.
The striking artwork features Django (Jamie Foxx) and Dr. King Schultz (Christoph Waltz) prominently in the foreground, with Leonardo DiCaprio as Calvin Candie incorporated into the dramatic red-and-grey composition. The Italian tagline reads: “Gli hanno tolto la libertà. Lui gli toglierà ogni cosa.”
Django Unchained was nominated for five Academy Awards, including Best Picture, and won two: Best Supporting Actor for Christoph Waltz and Best Original Screenplay for Quentin Tarantino.
