Bronze sculpture by Belgian artist Benjamin Wouters (XX), titled DNA Double Helix – Gesigneerde sculptuur, modern style, measuring 13 × 13 × 53 cm, signed on the base, in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
A distinctive and powerful sculpture by Belgian artist Benjamin Wouters, executed as a three-dimensional interpretation of the iconic DNA double helix.
The two organically shaped lines gracefully wind around each other and are connected by irregularly shaped cross members. This creates a sculpture that displays a different line pattern from every viewing angle.
The work combines a recognizable scientific symbol with a pronounced artistic form. The dark patina and subtle lighter nuances on the surface emphasize the structure and give the image a strong, almost architectural appearance.
A special object for both the art collector and for a modern interior, office, library, medical practice, or any space where art and science meet.
The sculpture stands firmly on a square plinth and is signed by the artist on the base. The signature is clearly visible in the detail photographs.
Artist: Benjamin Wouters (XX)
Origin: Belgium
Dimensions: approx. 13 × 13 × 53 cm

Because of the handmade character of the surface, nuances and irregularities are part of the artwork’s appearance.
Please examine the photos carefully; they are an integral part of the description.
