In an auction, a splendid and exceptional specimen of Castello Pipe, Trade Mark model (KKKK), dated 2015 (Castello year stamp verifiable on the shank).
This piece stands out for its splendid, smooth, light natural finish, today virtually impossible to obtain on the market due to the rarity of plain, flawless briar veneers that do not require dark tinting or contrasts. The flame finish is regular and highlights the craftsmanship of Cantù's manufacturing.
The pipe is in a classic straight Billiard shape, with generous and balanced proportions. The shank bears the exclusive R5 mark, attesting to its proximity in origin to the historic and elegant Francesco Rosso shop in Padua, a synonym of excellence and strict selection of pieces.
Conditions:
Splendid NOS (New Old Stock) condition. The pipe is completely new, never smoked, never loaded. Black acrylic mouthpiece, perfect, without any signs or oxidation.
