Beneath precious fabrics and drapery from another era, a presence stands at a distance from the gaze. She inhabits the world of appearances, roles, and silences.

Then the veil lifts. The same woman appears, naked, not as a revelation but as an enigma. A discreet truth, inaccessible, that remains beyond signs.

Between these two states circulates a single breath. A single woman traverses the image, like Janus guarding the threshold between what is shown and what is revealed. In this fragile space, appearance and being no longer oppose each other: they respond to one another, like the two inseparable faces of a single existence.
