Ennio Finzi (Venice, 1931), one of the most important Italian abstract artists, made his debut in 1947 at the Bevilacqua La Masa Foundation in Venice and in the 1950s exhibited in group shows on Spazialism at Carlo Cardazzo's Galleria del Cavallino. He was invited to participate in the Quadriennale of 1959 and again in the 2000 edition. In 1986 he also took part in the International Art Biennale of Venice.
Considered among the Italian pioneers in the field of kinetic art and programmed art, since the 1950s he has developed his research within pure visuality.
