Multidisciplinary photographer-artist, author and musician, David Law develops work focused on gaze, presence and the perception of image in urban space. He first made a name for himself with a series devoted to window mannequins, integrated into the city through a subtle play of reflections and superpositions. This exploration of gaze and presence gave birth to an art book published in 2021. With this series, David Law dives into pared-down, dark universes inhabited by suspended spectral silhouettes. These indistinct, almost erased presences roam through strange landscapes where emptiness becomes material. Through a visual writing built with contemporary graphic tools, the artist explores the notions of isolation, trace and memory. A silent crossing, at the borders of the visible and the invisible.

Since 2014, David Law has participated in about twenty Contemporary Art fairs per year in France and Europe.
