Description from the seller
We present at auction an icon of luxury writing that is timeless, rendered in a modern and sophisticated guise: the Montblanc Meisterstück LeGrand Platinum Line Ballpoint Pen. This instrument, characterized by generous and authoritative proportions, is the ideal choice for those who desire a substantial grip and uncompromising elegance.
The body and cap of the pen are crafted from the famous black Montblanc precious resin, capable of offering a warm and velvety tactile sensation. To create a magnificent, icy contrast with the depth of the barrel, there are the splendid metal finishes with finely mirror-polished platinum plating. The three iconic decorative bands and the elongated classic clip accentuate the pen’s majestic silhouette, giving it a distinctly contemporary and metropolitan charm. At the rounded summit, of course, sits the unmistakable six-point white star, universal symbol of artisanal excellence.
Technically, the piece is configured as a Ballpoint Pen, operated by a fluid, smooth, and precise twist mechanism. The images of the piece disassembled into its main components confirm the perfect integrity of the internal structure and threads, ensuring the very high build quality typical of German manufacture. On the central band of the cap and on the clip ring are regularly and clearly impressed the official brand markers.
The overall condition of the object is rated as excellent. The pen retains its original luster and the platinum finishes remain bright and free of oxidation. However, in the spirit of utmost and strict transparency, there is note of light signs of wear and superficial scratches concentrated on a specific section of the resin body (a detail clearly highlighted in the latest photographs). These are marks due to normal use and rubbing that in no way impair the structural solidity or the perfect usability of the object, but they bear witness to its history.
