Stunning antique Turkish pipe in traditional style made of meerschaum, 35 cm long, fully carved and remarkably detailed.

The piece features a magnificent sculpture depicting a bearded male head, wearing an Oriental headdress, with numerous finely worked details.

The pipe body is also richly decorated with raised floral and vegetal motifs, executed with great finesse.

The meerschaum displays a very beautiful ivory/cream tint, with subtle pinkish hues visible in places, giving the piece a lot of character.

The pipe is fitted with a long translucent amber-colored stem, nicely curved and perfectly matched to the whole.

The exact material of the stem has not been determined, so it is presented here as amber-colored, with no claim about its composition. The pipe is completely new and never used; it has remained locked in a collector's display case since the 1980s.
