Michele Cascella (1892-1989) - Cipressi

A lithograph by Michele Cascella (1892-1989) was an Italian painter and crepuscular post-impressionist landscape artist. His works, including canvases, panels, pastels, and drawings, are exhibited in numerous Italian and international museums. This is a chromolithograph on paper, number 66 of 99 (see bottom left), hand-signed in pencil at bottom right (M. Cascella). The painting depicts a seascape with cypress trees in the foreground; it is framed and any warranty certificate is not visible. The execution period is presumably after the 1950s.
