Description from the seller

Absolute rarity, this S.T.Dupont Linea D Maki-E Dragon, Ryu Lighter, brand new never used, not even lit to preserve its genuineness.
Read the description below carefully to understand this exclusive object:
These lighters were made exclusively to order: once a prepayment was received, Dupont produced a model of the Linea "D" or Soubreny with gold finishes and black Chinese lacquer. The lighter was then sent to Japan, where master craftsmen applied a special lacquer enriched with 24-karat gold powder, fragments of eggshell or mother-of-pearl, using the traditional Maki-e technique: a process that involved layering, polishing and new applications until the work was completed. The production of each single lighter required 3 to 4 months and significant manual work. The most fascinating aspect is their uniqueness: being handmade, they always show subtle differences in the details.
