In “Red Echo, Blue Memory,” I explore a territory where emotion unfolds in shape, color, and rhythm. This work was born from an inner impulse, almost instinctive, that led me to translate memories and sensations into geometries that breathe on their own. The duality between red and blue — a tension running through the entire composition — is not a simple chromatic choice: it reflects two heartbeats that coexist within me.

The red, intense and expansive, acts as an emotional echo returning from my deepest layers: memory, desire, impulse. The blue, on the other hand, unfolds like a liquid surface of calm and contemplation, a kind of inner refuge where the mind rests. Between the two emerges this abstract, fragmented figure, almost human in its verticality, which rises seeking balance in a world built of contrasts.

While I worked on the piece, I felt that each segment was a piece of a changing thought. The lines guiding the composition function as borders and bridges at once: they separate, yet also connect; they delimit, but let breath. There is an inner movement, a constant shift between what is revealed and what remains hidden.

Ultimately, this painting is a dialogue between what I remember and what I imagine. A silent conversation between the warm pulse of experience and the fresh serenity of emotional distance. It is a map of my own inner landscape, built from intuitions rather than certainties.
