This edition, exhibited at the Arles Photography Meetings, is the first printing from a limited series of 5 copies in the format.
The photograph directly from BEN DAUCHEZ's studio is numbered and hand-signed by the artist. It will be delivered with a certificate of authenticity written and signed by the photographer.
About BEN DAUCHEZ:
Passionate about photography from a very young age, Ben began in the neighborhood studios of La Rochelle (France). There he acquired the full range of photography basics—from classic technique, to shooting, to retouching, through the laboratory.
At 22, freshly graduated, he moved to Paris to refine his training by becoming a set assistant for the Daguerre studios, Le Petit Oiseau va sortir, and Studio Zéro.
Ben went on to collaborate with and assist photographers among the most talented: Bettina RHEIMS, Patrick DEMARCHELIER, Terry RICHARDSON, Ellen VON UNWERTH, Marcus MAM...
From certain decisive encounters arose beautiful projects and long collaborations, notably with André RAU, Bettina RHEIMS (the sultry exhibition INRI and its eponymous book at Editions Albin Michel), Peter BEARD (2009 Pirelli calendar in Botswana).
His photos have been published, among others, by Condé Nast Editions (French and international), Première, Wallpaper, ID, Madame Figaro, Lifestyles, Vogue, Dandy Magazine…
His universe also interests brands with very different brand codes for which he has signed the creation of institutional and/or advertising campaigns: Dior (beauty), L'Oréal, Peugeot, Philip Morris, or Burger King (advertising awarded at the Dubai Lynx), PEUGEOT Motorcycles, ...
He has also produced numerous portraits of celebrities (IGGY POP, Woody ALLEN, Grace JONES, Jean DUJARDIN, Gilles LELLOUCHE, Olivier MARCHAL, Carole BOUQUET, Charlotte GAINSBOURG, Blake Lively…) of beauty, of men of the world (Olivier DASSAULT, Jacques SEGUELA...) and of travelers...
This photographic path has since allowed him to freely immortalize the human beauty, aesthetics and spirituality of each personality.
