Here we present an exemplar with a exquisitely modern and technological charm, belonging to one of the most iconic and bold collections from the Hamburg house: the Montblanc StarWalker Black Mystery Fountain Pen.
The design of this writing instrument breaks with classical schemes thanks to an innovative surface. The body is adorned with an intricate geometric pattern laser-engraved, creating a play of lines and rectangles with strong visual and tactile impact. This contemporary finish is enhanced by the contrast with platinum-plated, mirror-polished trims present on the aerodynamic-profile clip and on the smooth grip section. To seal the StarWalker line’s identity, we find the famous transparent dome on the top, inside which the Mont Blanc white star emblem floats magically.
The beating heart of this fountain pen is its excellent writing nib: by unscrewing the cap, a beautiful solid 14-carat gold nib (Au585) is revealed. To maintain perfect color harmony with the pen’s finishes, the nib has undergone a rhodium plating that gives it an elegant silvery tone, and it is finely engraved with the Montblanc logo. The filling system is cartridge-based.
Regarding its condition, the item is overall in good shape, but requires an important cosmetic clarification.
