Description from the seller
Magnificent Montblanc ballpoint pen from the prestigious Writers Edition series, dedicated in 2014 to the famous British author Daniel Defoe, father of "Robinson Crusoe." This limited edition is a true collectible that blends German artisanal excellence with a design that evokes adventure and the allure of the sea.
The body and cap are made of a premium dark brown resin, with delicate veins and streaks recalling the wood of a boat and feathers, key elements in the story of Robinson Crusoe.
The finishes are in polished metal with intricate decorative work. The clip, inspired by a bird’s feather, is a design masterpiece. The cap ring is adorned with finely etched engravings that recall eighteenth-century typography and nautical details.
The top end of the cap is topped by the legendary Montblanc star emblem, a symbol of quality and prestige.
On the cap is elegantly engraved the signature of Daniel Defoe. The pen also bears its individual serial number, confirming its uniqueness.
The pen is in overall excellent condition. It has been used very little, only for occasional signing. It has been carefully stored. The aesthetics are splendid and the metal finishes are brilliant.
There is a tiny scratch, almost imperceptible, located just below the signature on the cap. It is so small that it is difficult to capture clearly in photos, but to be completely transparent it is noted. It does not affect the beauty or functionality of the writing instrument in any way.
The Lot Includes:
The Montblanc Daniel Defoe Writers Edition ballpoint pen.
The original box, designed as an antique-style book with an illustrated cover.
The original Montblanc booklet and certificate of authenticity.
The merchandise will be shipped within the European Union, and buyers outside the EU will have to pay taxes and customs duties in accordance with the law.
If the winning bidder decides to cancel/withdraw, they will bear the risks and costs of all shipments and import duties for the return, with the return being at the seller’s expense.
