Description from the seller
"Revolution" after "Bonaparte Crossing the Grand-Saint-Bernard" painted by Jacques-Louis David in 1801. An homage to urban culture, to street art, and to street artists expressing their messages, dreams and feelings through this beautiful canvas that is the street... a free artistic revolution.
Teejo is a contemporary French artist. He modernizes old works of great masters by reinventing them with his own vision. He seeks to make (re)discover to the whole world ancient paintings by great masters sometimes forgotten over time. His passion for classical art has allowed him to develop his talent. He also creates new original works blending poetry, satire, prevention and imagination, conveying many messages through his creations. These works are sold around the world.
He creates his works using digital tools and enjoys mixing and revisiting techniques to obtain the best result. He is also the designer of the "dualité perceptuelle", a graphic innovation filed with the National Institute of Industrial Property allowing multiple images to appear in a single painting thanks to colored glasses.
