Claudio Rolfi, born in Genoa in 1960. From his early works one notices the great appeal that Italian art of the 20th century has exerted on him, with masters such as Casorati, Morandi, Carrà, and de Chirico. In his forty-year artistic career there are more than seventy solo exhibitions and countless artistic events, including TV programs devoted entirely to him. The Maestro Rolfi's work has been discussed by the most important journals and television and radio broadcasters. Among the most notable events are the great exhibition Centoeventigiorni held in Santa Maria degli Angeli, Rome, in 2002, inaugurated in the presence of Mrs. Franca Ciampi and Walter Veltroni, the show at the Dopmiziano Museum in Rome, the solo exhibition at Mondadori in Milan, the exhibition at the Palazzo della Cultura in Reggio Calabria, and at BAM Baveno Arte Maggiore presented by Vittorio Sgarbi. The Maestro's paintings have been used for about six years as set design for the GEO program on Rai 3. His works are present in many Italian collections, in the United States, Japan, Canada, and throughout the rest of Europe.
