Aoi Huber-Kono (1936) - Dittico B

Aoi Huber was born in Tokyo in 1936 and grows up in a busy, creative environment that stimulates her interest in graphics. Subsequently she moves to Milan where she makes numerous drawings and illustrations for various publishers, collaborating with Max Huber, whom she will marry in ’62.

The art direction of this work was overseen by Paolo Minoli, a liaison among other artists including Bruno Munari.

This piece is part of a diptych but has its own autonomy when viewed alone; it can be positioned both horizontally and vertically (that is how the artist studied it).
