The term "Doué" in Montblanc nomenclature indicates the harmonious meeting of two noble materials. In this model, the lower barrel is made in the classic, highly resistant glossy black precious resin, while the upper cap is entirely gold-plated. What makes the cap design particularly sophisticated is the refined vertical ribbing (pinstripe pattern), which catches the light, creating elegant reflections and offering an extremely pleasant tactile sensation. Completing the two-tone contrast are the nib tip and the three classic gold-plated rings, in addition to the iconic white star at the summit.
