Italian gilded wood candle holder mirror from the early 20th century, in good condition with small signs of wear and stains; external dimensions 60 x 38 x 17 cm and with two candle holder arms at the bottom.

Fascinating Italian candle-holder mirror dating from the second half of the 19th century, a refined example of decorative art and craftsmanship of the era.
The rich gilded wooden structure features an elegant sequence of scrolls, vegetal motifs and ornamental carvings, culminating in the imposing upper crest. The surface preserves a splendid antique patina, with natural chromatic variations and traces of time that attest to its authenticity and enhance its charm.
Particularly evocative are the two candle-holders located at the bottom. Originally, objects of this kind were used in corridors and rooms of aristocratic homes to reflect and amplify candlelight, creating a warm and enveloping atmosphere.
