Buell X1 Lightning motorcycle, first registered in 2000, with about 17,700 km, Dutch registration papers and CoC present.
Description from the seller
Offered: a technically and optically in very good condition Buell X1 Lightning from 2000 with only 17,700 km.
The motorcycle is equipped with various high-quality modifications, but the original fairing and body parts are still present and can be supplied with the motorcycle if desired.
Performance
The motorcycle has been professionally tuned on a dynamometer at HdeB Engineering in Sleen.
Measured at the rear wheel:
• 96 hp
• 128 Nm
Converted to the crank:
• ca. 110 hp
• ca. 148 Nm
The values of 96 hp and 128 Nm at the rear wheel are actually measured and demonstrable with the available power run. The crank values are calculated values taking into account drive loss.
Execution and modifications
Performance Machine wheels
The motorcycle is equipped with the original Performance Machine (PM) lightweight aluminum wheels with which this X1 was delivered from the factory. This concerns the high-quality polished aluminum PM version.
Intake
Custom aluminum intake with K&N air filter.
Filters
Equipped with K&N air and oil filters.
Exhaust system
Fully custom-made stainless steel exhaust system.
Muffler
Bos Exhausts carbon muffler.
Suspension
WP rear shock absorber including spring for improved handling.
Clutch
Equipped with enhanced clutch plates, suitable for the increased power and torque of the motor.
Engine tuning
Professionally tuned on the dynamometer at HdeB Engineering. The full RPM range is tuned per cylinder individually. The power run is present.
Recent maintenance – about 500 km ago
The motor has been fully road-ready and checked. Replacements included:
• New lithium battery
• New drive belt
• New primary pulley
• New front and rear tires
• New engine oil
• All filters replaced
Original parts
Despite the modifications, the original fairings/body parts of the motorcycle are still present. If desired, these can be supplied with the motorcycle.
There are also two original keys available.
Condition
Given its age, the motorcycle is in exceptionally neat technical and optical condition. With its low mileage, original Performance Machine wheels, high-quality modifications and professional tuning, it is a particularly noteworthy example of the Buell X1 Lightning.
The mileage is currently approximately 17,700 km and may rise slightly.
Power run from HdeB Engineering available.

Disclaimer
Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
