This is a photo of Max Kreijn. After several years of studying architecture at the Technische Hogeschool Eindhoven, he studied Monumental Art at the Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam. In addition he took lessons at the Royal College of Art in London under the guidance of, among others, R.B. Kitaj and David Hockney. After his education Kreijn first moved to the island Ibiza and then to Assisi and Florence. For a period of about forty years the artist lived and worked in various countries, including Italy, Spain, Great Britain, Portugal, Thailand, Argentina and Australia.
