Postma could be described as a fierce man who made intense paintings with paint explosions and abstract clusters of color in which figurative elements occasionally shine through.

Postma was te omschrijven als een hevige man die heftige schilderijen maakte met verfexplosies en abstracte kleurkluwens waar af en toe figuratie in doorschemert.
