The body and cap are masterfully crafted in the celebrated Montblanc black precious resin, whose smooth and deeply brilliant surface is shaped to create an ergonomic and captivating silhouette. To enhance this sophisticated aesthetics, luminous and generous details in solid metal finely plated in platinum contribute, creating a magnificent chromatic contrast. The distinctive and most precious element of the entire collection is undoubtedly the cap’s summit: here, mounted inside a dramatic transparent resin dome, the six-point Montblanc star floats magically, but in this special edition the emblem is a true diamond cut in "Montblanc Diamond". As clearly evidenced in the macro detail images, the object shows evident and widespread signs of prior use: there are micro-scratches and fine rubbing marks (hairlines) along the surface of the black resin, and oxidations and small superficial scratches on the platinum-plated metal portions, particularly on the lower cone. These details attest to the history of a beloved pen that was used daily, but do not in any way compromise its solid structural integrity or its perfect mechanical functionality.
