Relief, rilievo - 46 cm - .925 silver

Elegant vintage relief depicting the famous Riace Warrior A, inspired by one of the most iconic masterpieces of classical Greek art.

The subject is realized in bas-relief with very detailed workmanship, particularly evident in the musculature, the bearded face, and the overall rendering of the figure.

On the relief is clearly present the punch mark “925”, visible in the photographs. No metallurgical tests were conducted to determine the weight of the silver or to establish whether the work is solid silver, sheet metal, or a coating: the object is therefore described based on the marks present.

The bas-relief is set in an elegant beige/pink antique passe-partout and completed by a substantial brown wooden frame with gilded profiles.
