Montblanc Portamine Bohème Rouge Gold Line in black precious resin with gold-plated metal details, 12 cm long and 1.2 cm in diameter, serial YD1206385, made in Germany in the 20th century, in working order and in excellent condition with minor age-related wear.
Description from the seller
We present at auction a refined writing jewel, perfect for those who love the precision of the stroke without ever giving up a luxurious aesthetic: the Montblanc Bohème Rouge Mechanical Pencil. This iconic model, famous for its compact proportions and softly rounded design, represents the perfect union between the traditional elegance of the renowned German house and a touch of unmistakable audacity.
The body and cap are expertly constructed in Montblanc black precious resin, whose smooth and deeply glossy surface blends magnificently with the bright solid metal detailing, entirely gold-plated. The distinctive element that immediately catches the eye is the sophisticated clip, embellished with a sparkling synthetic gem set in ruby red, a chromatic detail that gives the object a passionate and refined charm. At the rounded summit sits the unmistakable six-point white star emblem, universal symbol of excellence and fine artisanal craftsmanship, while the gold ring on the clip bears the individual serial number clearly engraved.
Technically, this prestigious piece is configured as a mechanical pencil and is operated by a fluid and precise rotation mechanism of the cap. Photographs of the piece carefully dismantled confirm the perfect integrity of the solid internal structure and reveal a feature of great practicality: the handy eraser, elegantly and discreetly concealed beneath the end of the removable cap.
The conservation status of this masterpiece is to be considered excellent. The item has clearly been handled with care and great respect: the precious resin appears perfectly taut and shiny in every part, as do the sparkling gold finishes, showing only microscopic and entirely physiological signs of time due to normal and attentive use, invisible at first glance.
