Splendid Epiphone Les Paul Standard produced in the historic Unsung factory in South Korea in August 2000 (serial: U00081226), one of the series most appreciated by enthusiasts for its superior build quality compared to many later productions.
The guitar presents itself in excellent cosmetic and functional condition, with normal and very slight signs of wear compatible with the instrument’s age. The neck is comfortable and smooth, the fretboard with trapezoid inlays is in excellent condition and the frets are still well preserved.
The instrument is fully ready to play: it offers great sustain, the typical Les Paul character and a warm, full tone, ideal for rock, blues, hard rock and related genres.

For the utmost fairness to the buyer, one purely aesthetic detail is noted: the previous owner, who always kept the guitar with extreme care, as documented by the photographs, in an attempt to replace the original truss rod cover with one bearing the word “Custom” (even though it is a Standard model), caused a small chip at the screw hole of the truss rod cover. The defect was subsequently expertly repaired by our luthier, with an aesthetically very high-level result.
All instruments coming from our luthierie are carefully checked, adjusted and finished, so that they are delivered in the best possible condition esthetically, functionally and sonically.
The Korean Unsung Epiphone from this period are today increasingly sought after by collectors and musicians for their excellent build quality and reliability over time.
