Description from the seller
Overview
This is an impressive large-size Zenith mechanical pocket watch, measuring approximately 54.38 mm in diameter. It presents the classic character of an early Swiss pocket watch, with a white enamel dial, elegant black Arabic numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock and ornate gold-tone hands.
The movement is one of the strongest features of the watch. The gilt movement is clearly marked ZENITH, 17 JEWELS and PRIMA, while the separate inner dust cover is decorated with multiple medal motifs and the inscription GRAND PRIX PARIS 1900 together with the Zenith name.
The most notable highlights are its large 54.38 mm case, Zenith 17-jewel PRIMA movement and the historically styled Grand Prix Paris 1900 dust cover.
