- Concetta Daidone was born in Atri, Italy in 1962.
Exhibitions: among the most recent we recall the one at the Art Gallery “Il Trittico” in Rome, at the Museo delle Genti d’Abruzzo in Pescara, and at the Ugo Guidi Museum in Forte dei Marmi. Her canvases are animated by a powerful, pulsating expressiveness that takes shape thanks to a mixed technique characterized by a sharp, geometric, and jagged materiality. “The artist, with her works, tells us about her world, rich in poignant melancholy, yet at the same time full of emotion and vital energy. Looking at her paintings one cannot help but notice a certain modesty, as if not wanting to fully reveal her sensitive soul. Her landscapes, never purely descriptive, but always a manifestation of her way of interacting with the things around her, speak of her better than any biography. The study of color, the brushwork, the delicate glazes, render the atmosphere magical as you observe her works.” (Roberto Di Giampaolo)
