Model Overview
The TAG Heuer Connected Modular 45 represents one of the most interesting crossovers between traditional Swiss luxury watchmaking and modern wearable technology. Modular generation was developed by TAG Heuer in collaboration with Intel and Google, combining Swiss luxury-watch construction with the flexibility of the Wear OS platform.
Unlike conventional mass-market smartwatches, the Connected Modular 45 was conceived as a genuine TAG Heuer product, featuring a substantial 45 mm titanium case, sapphire crystal and interchangeable modular construction. This example is particularly attractive with its blue perforated TAG Heuer rubber strap and Carrera/Heuer 01-inspired skeleton chronograph display.
The model is now discontinued and represents an interesting chapter in TAG Heuer’s modern history.

The large 45 mm titanium case combines brushed and polished surfaces with TAG Heuer’s characteristic modern sports-watch architecture. A fixed grey bezel with white minute numerals surrounds the sapphire touchscreen.
The watch offers configurable digital TAG Heuer faces. Shown in the photographs is an especially attractive Carrera/Heuer 01-style skeleton chronograph display, strongly connecting the Connected series with TAG Heuer’s mechanical sports-watch collection.
Strap & Buckle
Fitted with the original TAG Heuer blue perforated rubber strap and substantial original TAG Heuer folding clasp with engraved branding and shield logo.
Both strap and clasp show signs of normal previous use, clearly visible in the photographs.
Historical / Collector Context
The Connected Modular project marked an important moment in TAG Heuer history. Instead of simply placing its logo on a conventional smartwatch, TAG Heuer incorporated traditional Swiss watchmaking concepts such as premium materials, sapphire crystal and interchangeable modules into a connected platform developed around Google and Intel technology.
Today, these discontinued first-generation Modular watches are interesting pieces of 21st-century TAG Heuer history, representing the period when one of Switzerland’s most famous motorsport-watch manufacturers seriously entered the luxury smartwatch market.
Condition Report
The watch is in good used and fully presentable condition. The titanium case, bezel, clasp and blue rubber strap show surface marks and scratches consistent with previous use. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the condition description.
The watch powers on, operates and connects. Battery performance remains surprisingly good for a smartwatch of this generation: in normal use it comfortably lasts approximately 1–1.5 days, and can last longer when the Always-On Display function is disabled.
As this is an earlier-generation connected watch, future software support, compatibility with every current smartphone and future operating-system updates cannot be guaranteed.
Original Box & Accessories
The watch comes with its original TAG Heuer presentation box, charging puck and charging cable, as shown in the photographs.
The cosmetic appearance of the box is excellent and it remains complete and intact. However, its opening/closing mechanism does not function 100% perfectly, which should be taken into consideration. This does not affect its presentation value, and structurally the box remains together and displays very well.
This point is specifically mentioned for complete transparency.
