Iconic Names of Modern Art

In the 1960s, after abandoning Concrete Art and Constructivism, Julio Le Parc co-founded in Paris the Groupe de Recherche d’Art Visuel (GRAV), with the aim of exploring the effects of movement. A precursor of kinetic art and Op Art, Le Parc was born in 1928 in Palmira, in the Argentine province of Mendoza, and moved to France in 1958 thanks to a scholarship.
