A fascinating and complex work signed and dated in the bottom right by the Swiss artist Hans Eigenheer in 1972. The sheet presents a composition with a strong surreal and conceptual character, titled at the bottom left “Geburts-stab.”

The work stands out for the refined use of mixed media on paper, characterized by meticulous precision in anatomical and structural details. The piece is housed within a period wooden frame. Overall conditions are good, as widely documented by the photographic gallery.

The frame, if visible in the photo, is included in the lot as a pure gift from me and is not part of the sale, does not determine its value, and, due to its fragility, is not insured. Consequently, any defects already present on the frame are not reported and any damage suffered by it during transit will not be considered for claims or refunds. The wall-mounting system could also be removed. Glass often breaks during transport and can damage the artwork. They can be removed on request at no additional cost. Please let me know if you prefer the artwork to be shipped without them; otherwise I cannot assume responsibility.

Shipping and customs notes

The item is shipped from Geneva, Switzerland. For this reason, delivery times to EU countries may be slightly longer than usual due to standard customs procedures.

If the package is returned for an incorrect address, unclaimed package, or unpaid duties, the buyer will have to pay a second shipping fee and cover the return costs.

I also remind you that, since Switzerland is outside the European Union customs area, import taxes, local VAT, and customs duties are entirely borne by the buyer and will be collected by the authorities in your country upon delivery. I recommend checking in advance to avoid surprises. Alternatively to shipping, if possible, in-person pickup in Geneva is always the option I prefer and strongly recommend, as it will eliminate transport costs and ensure maximum safety for the artwork. If shipping is chosen, I will do my best to package it to protect the painting during travel.
