Gerriet Postma, artist's name Gerriet, (Twijzelerheide 1932 – Groningen 2009) was a Dutch painter and visual artist.
Postma could be described as a vigorous man who made intense paintings with paint explosions and color clumps.
His motto was: 'Live as I paint, paint as I live. I am nothing but paint' (text by Simon Vinkenoog. A copy of the text can be supplied on request, see photo).
This abstract painting on canvas is from around the year 1986 and is not framed. The canvas has been very recently professionally restretched.

Zijn lijfspreuk was: 'Leef zoals ik schilder, schilder zoals ik leef. Ik ben alleen maar verf' (tekst van Simon Vinkenoog. Kopie van de tekst kan desgewenst worden meegeleverd, zie foto).
Dit abstracte schilderij op linnen is van om en nabij het jaartal 1986 en is niet ingelijst. Het doek is zeer recent opnieuw professioneel opgespannen.
