Wilfredo Chiesa - Abstract Art Portfolio "tango" (Limited Edition, 1979-1983)
Magnificent and rare artist's book / abstract art portfolio titled « tango », created by the renowned artist Wilfredo Chiesa.
This is a collectible work of exceptional rarity, issued in a very limited edition of only 38 numbered and signed copies. This copy bears number 6/38 and includes its original presentation wooden box engraved with the title.
* Artist: Wilfredo Chiesa
* Title: tango
* Numbering / Signature: Justified 6/38 in the colophon, and each print is individually hand-signed by the artist.
* Composition: Complete portfolio containing 6 superb abstract prints/serigraphs with rich textures and characteristic compositions.
* Materials and printing: Printed on high-quality rag paper (Rives) of pure cotton. The text was set in Cheltenham and printed in typography (letterpress) by Whetstone Press.
* Chronology: Project started in San Juan in the summer of 1979 and completed in Boston in the spring of 1983.
* Condition: Excellent overall condition, complete with its original wooden box.
