Fascinating abstract work created by Swiss artist Jean-Claude Hesselbarth in 1982, titled "Globule rouge". The composition, with a strong chromatic and visual impact, is characterized by a complex textural and gestural application on a wood-plywood support, with a vibrant palette ranging from deep blues and blacks to lively accents of red, orange and turquoise. The work is signed and dated "82" at the bottom right. On the back there is the original gallery card for Jean-Claude Hesselbarth (Rue de Bourg 29, Lausanne) with the data of the work and the archival number.

Please note that, being a work of art from a past era, there may be slight signs of aging consistent with its age.

The frame visible in the photo is included in the lot as a pure gift from me and is not part of the sale, it does not determine the value and, due to its delicacy, is not insured. Consequently, any defects already present on the frame are not reported and any damage to it during transport will not be considered for claims or returns. The wall-mounting system may also be removed. Glass often breaks during transport and can damage the artwork. They can be removed on request at no additional cost. Please let me know if you prefer that the artwork be shipped without it; otherwise I cannot assume responsibility.

Notes on shipping and customs

The item is shipped from Geneva, Switzerland. For this reason, delivery times to European Union countries may be slightly longer than usual due to standard customs procedures.

If the package is returned due to an incorrect address, unclaimed package or unpaid duties, the buyer will have to pay for a second shipment and cover the return costs.

I would also remind you that, since Switzerland is outside the EU customs area, import duties, local VAT and customs charges are entirely the buyer’s responsibility and will be demanded by your country’s authorities at delivery. I recommend informing yourself in advance to avoid surprises. Alternatively, if possible, pickup in person in Geneva is always my preferred option and I highly recommend it, as it eliminates shipping costs and ensures maximum safety for the artwork. If shipping is chosen, I will do my best to package the frame to protect the painting during transit.
