Description from the seller

A refined and imposing modernist sculpture created by the master Italian sculptor and painter Nado Canuti (Bettolle, 1929). The work belongs to the prolific and sought-after series of ‘Onirogrammi’ (developed starting in the early 1970s), where the geometric and architectural rigor of the structure blends with the figurative and organic lightness of the relief details. The piece is characterized by an elegant material bicromatism: a solid architecture in patinated/brunished bronze contrasted with elements in bright gilded bronze (the stylized human/organic figure and the series of spherical and cylindrical details on the body and on the base).
General conditions: Good / Very good
The work presents itself in an excellent state of structural preservation and with the original patina of the period.
Surface and patina: Minor and natural signs of use on the metal consistent with its age.
Base: Shows a small abrasion/surface scratch on the patina near the lower edge of the base (visible in close-up photos), which does not affect the piece’s solidity and is part of the artwork’s natural lived-in aspect.
No structural damage, components firmly fixed and stable.
