First and only printing of Walter Tiemann’s illustrated comedy play. Limited edition of only 400 copies, this being No. 18. Private Press Only: This book was never released or sold to the public via standard commercial bookstores. As printed on the title page ("Als Handschrift gedruckt"), it was created strictly as a private, high-end birthday gift for Walter Tiemann’s 50th birthday. Beautifully illustrated with 5 full page black- and white woodcuts by Hans Lexander Müller who also did the cover illustration, as well as some decorative elements throughout done by Will Harwerth.

Some rubbing, bumping, wear, and slight soiling to the boards and spine. Hardly any browning and spotting throughout. The text and illustrations are clear, the paper is crisp, and the binding is solid. Overall, a stunning copy in very good+ condition.
