Description from the seller

FOR SHIPMENTS TO THE COUNTRIES OF THE EUROPEAN UNION NO CUSTOMS CLEARANCE COSTS ARE EXPECTED, except for destinations with special tax regimes, such as the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla.

The shipments are made from Italy. Should any customs clearance costs be charged for a shipment destined to an EU country (with regular tax regime), such costs will be fully reimbursed by the seller.

Lithography and material collage (embossed) on Arches paper.

Numbered specimen 69/100 in the bottom left and signed in pencil by the artist in the bottom right.

The work belongs to Antoni Tàpies' graphic production of 1991 and is characterized by the artist's typical symbolic language, here developed through an essential composition and a strong material exploration. The relief and the particular surface of the paper give the work a strong tactile and plastic presence, elements distinctive of Tàpies' research and his relationship with matter.

Sheet dimensions: ca. 76 × 56 cm
Image dimensions: ca. 49 × 30 cm

Publisher: Galerie und Verlag ARAS
Printer: Stoob Steindruck, St. Gallen, for Erker-Presse, St. Gallen

Edition: 100 numbered copies 1/100–100/100, 10 hors commerce signed copies numbered 1/10–10/10, in addition to some copies with dedications

Bibliography: Galfetti, Obra Gràfica 4, no. 1309.

Conditions:
the work is presented in museum-quality condition. The tactile surface and the reliefs are perfectly preserved, as is the freshness of the graphic intervention. The sheet is uniformly white in color, perfectly intact and free of creases. Edges perfectly intact. The photographs are an integral part of the description and accurately document the conservation status.

Shipping:
professional packing and carefully protected. The work will be shipped in a protective rigid tube, with insurance equal to the winning bid value.

Note: accepting a package with visible damage, if such damage is not reported to the courier, results in loss of insurance coverage. In such an eventuality, any damage will be borne entirely by the buyer.
