Giuseppe Fortunato is a renowned contemporary artist whose career began early, with his first exhibition abroad at the age of 27.
A turning point in his career occurred in the 1980s when he met Remo Brindisi, a prominent figure in the new Italian figurative movement. This meeting provided a crucial influence, fueling Fortunato's artistic drive and allowing him to develop a unique style, distinct from traditional figurative approaches.
Toward the end of the 1980s, he created the IMAGES movement together with other Abruzzese artists.
In 2013 he founded the Fortunato Foundation, dedicated to promoting, archiving, and sharing his artistic legacy.
