In this square format, Medsan places a couple in an embrace at the center of a large cream surface crackled with fissures. The man, seen from behind, tilts his head toward the woman's and holds her face with both hands; her eyes are closed, her cheek reddened orange, her neck tilted back, and she clasps the hand that keeps her.

The two bodies disappear under a single long coat that envelops them from the shoulders to the floor: deep blue and pale blue rectangles on the man's side, concentric circles and small round flowers on the woman's side, all in blue on a white background with touches of brick red. They kneel on a carpet of blue, white, and red flowers that occupies the entire bottom of the image. A delicate network of dark fissures and broad golden lines runs across the whole surface. In the bottom left, the cartouche reads メドサン. A restrained embrace held up by its own fractures.
