The Montblanc Meisterstück LeGrand 166 is presented in very good overall condition, showing a remarkable level of preservation for a writing instrument of its era.

The precious burgundy resin maintains a deep, uniform shine, with no cracks, breaks, or repairs. Only micro-scratches from use are evident, visible only upon close inspection and in line with careful use, and they do not affect the aesthetic or the function at all.

The gold-plated metal elements — clip and rings — are in very good condition, with their original luster and no loss of plating, displaying only light signs of handling typical for a vintage item.

The Montblanc emblem at the top of the cap is complete, well centered, and without missing parts. The engraving on the central band “Montblanc – Meisterstück” remains sharp and perfectly legible.

The rollerball system operates correctly, with the cap closing securely and smooth writing (refill included as available).

Overall, this is a very well-preserved piece, ideal for daily use as well as for a collection.
