The work borrows pharmaceutical codes to transform nostalgia, entertainment, and collective references into “emotional substances.”
Through this series, Popléa plays with our modern dependence on images, childhood heroes, and popular symbols.
The characters change with each work, but the principle remains the same: an encapsulated emotion, ready to be “prescribed.”
Between minimalist sculpture, luxury design, and a gentle critique of consumer society, HAPPY DRUG deliberately blurs the line between art, collectible object, and fictional pharmaceutical product.
