Willy Rizzo - Romina Power

This is a fantastic photograph from 1966 depicting Romina Power in her Rome home on Via della Camilluccia, where she lived with her mother and sister Taryn.
Here we can see fifteen-year-old Romina Power in all her beauty and grace, in the year before her meeting with her future husband Al Bano, and 1966 was an extraordinary year for the young daughter of Tyrone Power, then engaged to the already twenty-four-year-old Prince Stanislas "Stash" Klossowski de Rola, a year full of social events despite her very young age.
This photograph was taken by the great photographer and designer Willy Rizzo, then his partner, and two years later her husband, of the beautiful actress Elsa Martinelli, another icon of 1960s Italy.
This is a genuine "Vintage" photo, from 1966, stamped on the back "Lynx", the premier French agency for which Willy Rizzo worked, and also "Paris Match" and "Marie Claire", the two weekly magazines most sold in France in those years.
I truly believe this is one of the most fascinating shots of this famous actress and singer, a photograph of everyday life of her fifteen-year-old adolescence in a Roman life.
