Description from the seller
This is a beautiful photograph from July 1972 by the well-known Franco-Turkish photographer Goksin Sipahioglu, who was called to Paris, where he lived, “Le Grand Turc” for his abilities as a photographer and journalist and for his keen intelligence. The photograph, taken almost certainly in Saint Moritz or Saint Tropez, shows the German billionaire playboy Gunther Sachs with his beautiful Swedish wife Mirja Larsson and their son Christian Gunnar, born 14 months earlier in May 1971. Gunther Sachs, an accomplished photographer, is photographed by Goksin Sipahioglu while, with his Nikon F, he in turn is taking a picture of his little son—a nice “family” scene of one of the most famous men in the world at that time... The photograph measures 30x20.3 cm and is in excellent condition, only very slight defects absolutely acceptable.
