Penguin Japan Table Lighter on an Elegant Rococo Revival Base – 20th Century

Description

Elegant and distinctive vintage table lighter composed of an original Penguin Japan mechanical insert, removable, mounted on a rich decorative metal base in the shape of a cup/trophy.

The base features refined Rococo Revival-style decoration, characterized by large volute handles, raised floral and vegetal motifs, ornamental elements depicting birds, and an elegant contoured foot.

The lighter insert is clearly marked PENGUIN and is easily removable from the base. The mechanism has been tested and works perfectly.

The combination of the Penguin mechanism and the distinctive ornamental base makes this specimen an interesting collectible object, suitable for both vintage lighter enthusiasts and lovers of decorative and tobacciana items from the 20th century.
