Description from the seller

A0000003554

The piece presents itself in very good overall condition, highlighting its elegant gold metal finish with a deep, uniform shine that reflects proper care over time. The body and cap maintain an excellent aesthetic presence, with micro-scratches visible only under close inspection and certain light reflections, typical of light and respectful use.

The clip preserves its structural firmness and correct alignment, without deformations, maintaining its optimal functionality. The ring engravings are sharp and well defined, indicating careful preservation with no significant wear on the inscriptions.

The nib, in 14-carat gold (14C), is in very good condition, with no visible deformations in the tines. It shows light signs of use consistent with handwriting, not affecting performance. The feed appears clean and correctly aligned, ensuring an adequate ink flow. The pen has been serviced and is delivered in proper working order, ready for use.

The filling system operates smoothly, showing precise action and no play, reinforcing the good mechanical condition of the set.

A light patina and minimal pinpoint marks can be seen on the gold finish, especially in areas of habitual contact, which do not diminish its overall aesthetics; on the contrary, they add character to the piece.

As there is no original box, it will be shipped in a courtesy box for proper preservation. Happy bidding!

Care recommendations

To keep the pen in optimal condition, it is recommended to use high-quality inks specific for fountain pens, avoid pigmented inks, clean with lukewarm water if not used for a time, dry completely before storing, keep in a dry place away from direct light and extreme temperatures, and operate the filling system gently.
