Description from the seller

Source Form – ORYNO, 2026

From the Source Forms series.

An original mixed-media work on canvas, combining acrylic, pouring techniques, natural earth materials, mineral pigments, metallic details and textured surface work.

The composition developed around softer, interconnected forms that seem to grow into one another. Turquoise and green lines move through muted earth, sand, cream and warm mineral tones, creating areas that can feel cellular, geological or almost like fragments of an unfamiliar landscape.

Natural materials are an important part of the work. Earth and mineral-based matter are incorporated directly into the surface, with the artist creating his own mixtures and pigments to bring something physically connected to nature back into the interior space.

The piece was built through pouring, layering, gravity and direct intervention. Some areas remain fluid and translucent, while others are more textured and dense. Small metallic and mineral accents catch the light differently depending on the viewing angle.

ORYNO refers to a form that appears to be growing or organizing itself before becoming something fully identifiable.

About the artist

RAUM is an anonymous European contemporary artist working across painting, mixed media and material-based abstraction.

The work explores the point where form begins to emerge before it becomes fully defined. Organic structures, geological surfaces, symbolic fragments and fluid movement often appear throughout the pieces.

A central part of the practice is the use of natural material, especially earth, to create pigments, textures and surfaces. The intention is to reconnect the work with physical material and nature, rather than treating the painting only as an image.

Rather than placing the artist at the centre, the work points toward the deeper source from which creativity itself seems to emerge.

This body of work is intentionally kept separate from the artist’s established professional practice. The artist’s identity is intended to be revealed in 2030.
