Title: Black Icon
Dimensions: 70 x 50 cm
Year: 2025
Skedro is a contemporary artist whose work focuses on representing identity as a process of continual transformation. Through fragmented faces, layered chromatic structures, and gestural, tactile painting, his works evoke totemic figures suspended between abstraction and presence. The human face becomes a territory to be rebuilt, where mark, color, and matter intertwine to reveal the tension between interiority and appearance. His work reflects the unstable nature of the self, suggesting that identity is never definitive but always in flux.
